Optimize and Elevate your on-going podcast journey

No matter if you have a few episodes or years of weekly content released, if you’re an active podcaster looking to reach new heights, this is your guide to getting started with the transition to HoneyPod.

Your guide to getting your podcast on our platform.

  • Organize your assets

We understand the importance of keeping your published episodes intact. If you have an established podcast with a wealth of content and branding assets—such as logos, color schemes, episode artwork, and more—we’ll help you organize and integrate them into your ongoing podcast production.

Similarly to the process for new podcasters, after selecting a package or service, we’ll set up a dedicated Google Drive folder for your project. You’ll receive Editor access, giving you full control over the folder’s contents. From there, you can bulk upload all your assets - audio files, graphics, episode transcripts, and any other content you’ve accumulated over time. Once your files are uploaded, we’ll handle the rest: organizing your materials into subfolders, sorting through your content, and making sure everything is in its proper place. If you’re unsure about any part of this process, our team is available to guide you through it!

Managing an established podcast with numerous components can be overwhelming. We also understand the frustration that can occur from having to try and acquire assets from a previous editor or company. That’s why we offer tailored solutions to help you get organized, and we can even act as your liaison in communicating your needs to former editors. Throughout the uploading process, we’ll make a list of what might be missing, and assist you in finding the remaining components.

  • Login Credentials

Publishing services are included in each of our packages. If, however, you’ve decided to opt out of this feature, just jump ahead! Otherwise, let’s talk! Just like with uploading your assets, you’ll need to give us login credentials for any platforms we’ll be publishing on, any websites/blogs we’ll be updating, and any other place where we’ll need a username/password. If it’s a platform that allows you to administer editor (or similar title) permissions, such as YouTube, we’ll walk you through how to complete that process. This step allows us to ready ourselves for publishing your next batch of content, and also optimize your channels for SEO (if you’ve purchased a package containing this feature.)

  • What's next?

Switching editing services can be scary - you don’t want anything to go wrong or go missing. We get it! Which, is one of the reasons we consistently refer to ourselves as being more than just editing. We’ve successfully assumed the role of producer for many established podcasts, and this priceless experience has allowed us to develop the perfect workflow and series of processes, so you can rest assured that this transition will go off without any hiccups, and you won’t miss an episode release, nor will your audience suspect a change in service. After everything is set in place and ready to go, we’ll continue performing the features of whichever package or service you’ve purchased.
