Does HoneyPod use AI-editing?

While we’re very excited about the future of AI assistance, we do not use AI services to edit your audio. It’s no secret that AI apps are constantly being developed and updated, but, in our experience, when it comes to editing content like audio, AI isn’t ready. We’ve mentioned before that we keep our finger on the pulse of the industry, and so, we’re always curious to try out every new piece of tech that sprouts up. We find that there are too many errors coming from AI podcast editing, and the end result isn’t something that we can consciously be proud to release to our clients.

Does HoneyPod offer custom packages?

Absolutely! Everyone is at a different point in their journey, has a different and unique vision for their podcast, and thus, can require certain things that aren’t listed in one of our tailored packages. We developed our packages with the mindset of “what are the most common forms of editing podcasters will need?” But, sometimes it might not be enough. If you need some customization to one of our packages, please feel free to reach out either through our contact page or schedule a free consultation and we’ll find what fits you best.

What if I only need a single service, such as theme music, or an intro?

Yep, we’ve got you! Again, reach out, and we’d be happy to discuss your needs. Pricing varies because everyone will need something slightly different, and we don’t feel it’s fair to list an estimate not knowing whether or not it’ll change. BUT! We can guarantee that, just like our pre-built packages, we can perform a custom, single service for you that’s most likely much better priced than the competition.

What do I need before working with HoneyPod?

It can be as simple as an idea. You don’t necessarily need anything to get started, because our free consultations are designed to assist you with brainstorming and strategizing.

However, the more that you do have, the faster we’ll be able to create your initial episode and get your podcast off the ground. We will take any assets that you may already have, including:

• logos & brand styling

• visual templates (overlays, lower thirds, etc.)

• musical assets

• and anything else you have ready to be incorporated into your podcast

What do you need to publish my episode?

To publish your episode for you, we will need the login credentials for the platforms you’d like to publish on. YouTube allows you to set another user as an editor, so, if you’re posting on YouTube, we’ll walk you through how to give us that permission for your channel.

Also, if you’re using a recording service, such as Riverside, and would like us to grab the necessary files we need, we will need the login credentials for there, as well. We highly recommend going this route, because it’ll not only make the process even more hands-free for you and your team, but it also avoids any confusion there may be with the correct file formats we need - and, it doesn’t cost you anything extra!

Do I own the files you create for me?

You will own the rights to everything that we create for you upon the completion of a service or our partnership! For assets that we source for you, such as music, we will provide you with the link and database so that you can purchase the rights if you choose to continue using them.
